Kelli Block

Kelli Block

Yoga Teacher

For many years, she practiced ashtanga vinyasa yoga, and now tends towards vinyasa flow, but she insists she has never met a yoga class she didn’t like. She comes to yoga for the health benefits, contemplation, mindful community, and to get upside down. While she believes that the breath is the real teacher, she is looking forward to guiding others through the poses as a NOWyoga instructor.

Kelli is also a clinical social worker with a private practice downtown, primarily using Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented psychotherapy. She has four children, a husband, and a dog, and when she is off her mat, she prefers to be hiking, paddle boarding, or dancing to live music.

Kelli has been practicing yoga for over twenty years.  She completed her yoga teacher training in 2009 with Charlottesville Yoga School.
