Join yoga therapist, Cynthia Woodring, to explore ideas and practices to improve balance. We will discuss how balancing is a whole body experience that includes our sense organs, musculoskeletal system, respiration, and psychological state.
Guided sequences will consider key elements to improve stability and build the solid foundation needed for static balance poses and dynamic transitions from one pose to the next. You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of the value of yoga as an aid to balance and strategies to improve your balance on and off the yoga mat.
