Slow Flow

Physical exertion: Moderate.  Yoga Experience recommended: Advanced beginner and above.  

In our Slow Flow classes, teachers lead you through a continuous flow of poses at a slow pace. This allows practitioners to focus on deeper, more expansive breathing and synchronization of the breath with movement. As a result, practitioners are able to effectively calm the nervous system while gaining strength and flexibility. Our Slow Flow classes have less complex poses and transitions than our Vinyasa I/II classes, making them better suited to the newer practitioner of vinyasa. Al of our vinyasa classes incorporate sun salutations which build core and upper body strength.  (If you have injuries to , or chronic issues with, shoulders or wrists, vinyasa classes may aggravate them. Please call us to discuss before attending class.)
